Description
- We are looking for Backend / Full Stack Developers to produce scalable software solutions. Ad a Backend Developer you will be responsible for the server side of our web applications.
- As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
- You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
Responsibilities
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Create security and data protection settings
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
- Manage testing and bug fixes
- Prepare technical documentation
- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
- Write effective, scalable code
- Build efficient back-end features in Python.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
- Proven experience (at least 4 years) as a Backend / Fullstack Developer or similar role
- As a Fullstack Devloper: Knowledge of multiple front-end languages, frameworks and libraries
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- An analytical mind.
Tech Stack:
- Node.js or python
- Fullstack: Angular/ React.js
- Solid experience as Python Developer
- Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, Bottle)
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API
- Understanding of databases and SQL
- Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus.
